Kalamazoo Public Library “Electrolier”

The “Electrolier” is a spectacular, 46’D x 25’H aluminum, translucent and holographic acrylic sculpture. This world’s largest floor lamp, or ‘canopy’, is installed above the massive open area and the lounge area located on the Library’s main floor.

Other works by McCalley for the Library included 130 pieces furniture such as computer carrels, tables, desks, lamps, and 16 floor and wall-mounted sconces made of composite materials.
